First student visit

The 08th of May 2018 took place at WRRF CUOIODEPUR, the first didactic visit with the students of the Italian Genuine Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium (Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale) in Tuscany for a week of work connected to the “Craft The Leather 2018” event . The workshop involved young aspiring designers from the most prestigious international fashion and design schools. The students, accompanied by teachers and coming from Japan, United Kingdom, China, Spain, United States and Sweden, were able to know every aspect of vegetable tanning at CUOIODEPUR, the most important WRRF of the Tuscan tanning district. The LESSWATT project was also illustrated to them, with particular attention to the aspects of environmental sustainability applied to the production process.
