Action B4 continues: Development of the protocol for the reduction of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
The biokinetic and hydrodynamic models have been implemented by UNIFI and UGENT respectively, aimed at simulating the operation of the Cuoiodepur WRRF in many operational scenarios. The models were built on the basis of the results of actions A1, A2 and B3 and represent the basis for the development of the protocol for optimizing the aeration process and minimizing energy costs and/or emissions of GHGs.
